Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
At Good Neighbours Australia, we believe access to clean water is fundamental to communities having fulfilled and healthy lives.
To help communities achieve this, we help build infrastructure like wells and toilets, while also raising awareness amongst community members about good hygiene practices and their role in daily life.
Our signature water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) program is designed to teach people about fundamental hygiene practices, to help keep them and the whole community safe.
You can support our WASH program through a recurring community donation that will ensure access to essential infrastructure, sanitation and health awareness, not only helping communities survive but thrive.
Our efforts in Australia are focused on driving awareness and funds to support WASH projects in Cambodia and Mozambique and period poverty campaigns with a focus on education and provision of sustainable menstrual products in African communities we work in.

How to Give
Good Neighbours Australia supports community development initiatives locally and internationally. When you give a recurring donation to support community projects, your contribution will be allocated to a range of ongoing initiatives.
Your support will be directed to various infrastructure projects, dedicated training programs and provision of resources, all with the view to making communities more self reliant, resilient and sustainable for the long-term.

"The support of Good Neighbours is invaluable. When Ukrainians receive gifts like this, it helps them feel welcome in Australia. When they come here and see people doing good things, like Good Neighbours, they feel very thankful."
Andrew Mencinsky, Ukraine Council of NSW
