A new round of $50 Creative Kids vouchers have been launched in July, 2023. You may be eligible, if you haven’t used a $100 Creative Kids voucher this year. You can book into our event with these vouchers, or purchase tickets for just $30 per person.

Making a Difference

Decorate a Christmas gift bag to send to disadvantaged kids in Vietnam. The gift bags will be sent to Vietnam, along with 100% of any funds raised from the event which will be used to buy bikes for kids this Christmas.

Vang's Presents

Many children like Vang at our partner community in Vietnam have never received a Christmas gift. "I know on Christmas Day Santa Claus will give gifts to children, but I never received a gift from Santa Claus ... I would like a warm coat for Christmas." Thanks to our Christmas Crafternoon participants and our incredible donors, we were able to provide 510 children with a Christmas gift.

For Phong & Friends

Thanks to the generosity of our Crafternoon participants and community sponsors, we were able to raise money to provide Phong (and many kids like him) a warm winter coat. “ I am so happy and thankful to Good Neighbours Australia because I have warm clothes this winter. These gifts are very meaningful to me and my family at this time.”

Moo Jin's Wish

Moo Jin's family lives through farming. However, it is not enough to cover for his family’s needs. With no budget left for transportation, Moo Jin and children like him had to walk hours to school. With the donation of bikes, Moo Jin expressed his gratitude and joy, promising that he would study well.

Is my child eligible and how do I apply for the $50 Creative Kids Voucher?

If you haven’t already applied for, or used your Creative Kids Voucher in 2023, you may be eligible to apply for a $50 voucher for your school aged child. The most recent round of vouchers are for use up until 31st January, 2024.

Here’s how to apply! Students must be: a NSW resident, aged between 4 and a half and 18 years, enrolled in school, and a current Medicare cardholder.

Then, follow these steps:

1. Visit your MyServiceNSW Account.

2. Log in to your account, or sign up for a MyServiceNSW Account.

3. Go to My Services and click on ‘Creative Vouchers‘

4. Click Apply Online and submit documentation for application.

5. Redeem your voucher.

How can I register for the event using my Creative Kids Voucher?

Send a screenshot of the child’s Creative Kids Voucher and your child’s date of birth. You can send it goodchange@goodneighbours.com.au or 0416 030 381

What should I expect on the event day?

The program will run from 2-4pm. Afternoon tea is included in your entry. Merchandise and raffle tickets can be purchased at the event via cash or card. Parking is also available at the site, but let our team know should you or your child need any special assistance.

I can't attend but I want to donate to the cause, how can I be involved?

Get your Creative Kids Crafternoon DIY Kit sent directly to your home for only $40. You may send us back your decorated bag to be sent to kids at our partner community in Vietnam.

Or, sponsor someone else to attend. We have refugee families who love to be involved with this creative activity, who are more than willing to attend the event in your place. Just let us know and we shall line up someone in your place.
