Good Neighbours Australia has been supporting multicultural communities in NSW to stay safe and healthy through our previous hamper projects.
With the financial support of the NSW state government, we provided UBER ride vouchers to help people get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Who are we helping with the COVID-19 Vaccination Project and how will we do it?
Continuing our mission in supporting those from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) group, we provided free rides to COVID-19 vaccination sites to accelerate the NSW government’s COVID-19 vaccination program.
Are you from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds? Are you or your family getting the first, second dose or booster shot this year?
We asked interested parties to register their interest for a free Uber voucher. Our team got in touch with them based on the information they provide.
The vouchers were for the participants’ vaccination bookings scheduled in October, November and December 2021. The information collected was only used to contact the participants and is secured against unauthorised use or access.
