Our Year in Review

As we mark the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, we’re reminded that poverty isn’t just about income; it’s about access to opportunity, dignity and the ability to thrive. This year’s theme highlights the goal of building institutions that help families stay together and shape their own futures. 

At Good Neighbours Australia, we believe that empowering people, especially girls and women, is key to breaking the cycle of poverty and building stronger communities. That’s why we’re proud to launch our 2025 Annual Report, showcasing the impact of our programs for girls, as well as our child sponsorship initiatives over the past year. 

Guided by Good Neighbours our global vision of Empowering People, Transforming Communities, we’ve focused on initiatives that uplift those most affected by poverty, particularly in South and South East Asia.

As we reflect on this year’s achievements, we recommit to our mission: to stand alongside communities in need, and to work together toward a future free from poverty.
