KOFFIA 2022: Uplifting culture through film

Good Neighbours Australia is excited to announce its partnership with the Korean Film Festival in Australia (KOFFIA) – hosted by the Korean Cultural Centre (KCC) – to help strengthen relationships between multicultural communities. As an established charity providing community support in Australia, we are pleased to invite multicultural communities to enjoy the beauty of cultural exchange through this critically acclaimed Festival.
The Festival will feature 13 of Korea's finest films and showcase its unique culture
The Festival will take place across Australia over 18 August to 11 September. It will feature 13 of Korea’s finest films and showcase its unique culture across a variety of genres – including blockbusters, drama, comedy and more. Korea’s film industry is internationally recognised, winning historic awards and nominations across the Oscars, Golden Globes and BAFTAs.

In support of seniors, single parents and international students
KOFFIA has generously provided us with 30 tickets for our multicultural partner community groups to the screening of In Our Prime on Monday 22nd August, at 8.20pm. Seniors, single parents and international students without much opportunity to socialise can enjoy this drama movie – which follows the story of Ji-woo (KIM Dong-hwi), an outcast at a prestigious private high school
For stronger relations between diverse communities
Many people from the multicultural communities share a love for story and are deeply interested in Korean culture. The Festival will only help nourish this bond. Stories, after all, are about creating hope and connection and this is what we aim to achieve through our partnership with KOFFIA.
